Spotlight: Some promise in bumpers and placed in three maiden hurdles last year for his former yard; Won very easily for this rider on stable/handicap debut at Bellewstown; hit with 16lb rise that looks punitive.
Spotlight: Tailed off here last October on final start in 2024; had been on an upward curve previously, winning a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan and finishing runner-up at Listowel; possibly needed the race when fourth to Greatness Awaits at Killarney; improvement likely.
Spotlight: Point winner in 2023; no worthwhile form in his five racecourse starts in 2024; hit with a 20lb rise for easy win on stable debut at Ballinrobe, further progress feasible.
Spotlight: Has to enter calculations on the strength of fourth place in a valuable Punchestown festival event; that was his first run of the year, and implies he can run well after another break; each-way chance.
Spotlight: Progressive in winning her last two races at Cork, a maiden over this trip and a 2m4f mares' handicap; stays well enough to have prospects of holding her own against the geldings now.
Spotlight: Left all previous form behind when a 125-1 runner-up at Cork; confirmed that promise when justifying favouritism in a Tipperary maiden hurdle in May; encouraging handicap debut when close up in third behind Greatness Awaits at Killarney, with Coole Cheery fourth
Spotlight: Bumper winner in 2023; won a beginners' chase at Tipperary last month; stayed on from the last when third in a 2m6f handicap hurdle on Thursday; stablemate of Chance Another One.
Spotlight: Improving sort in maidens; second at Downpatrick before 5l Kilbeggan win; makes handicap debut with cheekpieces fitted; first reserve.
Spotlight: Let down by her jumping on her final start last season; two most recent runs on the Flat offer some encouragement; deserves respect on account of trainer's fine festival record; third reserve.
Spotlight: Killarney winner is 5lb higher for rematch with Bitofajokelike and Coole Cherry; not certain to uphold form with either.
Spotlight: Bumper and maiden hurdle winner; no joy in handicaps so far; absent since pulled up at Down Royal in March; not one of the more obvious contenders
Spotlight: Wexford winner last October and ran well back there at the same venue in May; below best on next two starts (including a Flat outing); second in first-time cheekpieces at Killarney; as a fair chance now in a slightly better race.
Spotlight: Went close in the 3m5f Porterstown Chase at Fairyhouse last December; out of form until running creditably over 2m6f here on Thursday; has a bit to find with third-placed Arctic Gale.
Spotlight: Won over 2m6f at Down Royal in April, backed that up with good runs in defeat at Killarney and Listowel; bounced back from a below-par Punchestown run when second at Bellewstown; stays well; Jack Kennedy aboard for the first time.
Spotlight: Stayed well when making a winning handicap debut at Cork in March; 8lb higher now and possibly vulnerable without a recent run under his belt.
Spotlight: Progressive handicapper early this year; won twice, including over 3m; looks held by Duke Silver on the form of her penultimate outing.
Spotlight: Won a 2m maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe in 2023 for Tom Gibney; needs to improve on this year's handicap form and he is not certain to get this trip as effectively as some of these rivals.
Spotlight: 1-18 over hurdles (win was two seasons ago over 2m); best run last season when second in 3m Gowran handicap in testing conditions, also ran well in 3m2f beginners chase; poor display at Wexford in May when Duke Silver was second.
Spotlight: Ran in points last winter, twice second; fourth in a hunters' chase at Cork; mid-field when sent back over hurdles at Listowel in June; up against it in this company.
Spotlight: Sole win in 34 starts came in a novice hurdle at Wexford in April 202; often placed, including over fences at Tipperary early last month; moderate run over hurdles on Thursday; second reserve.
Spotlight: Three wins gained at an early stage of his career; nothing recently to encourage support; big price when tailed off at Kilbeggan last time.
Spotlight: Winner of 11 races; last two runs have been in hunter chases; younger rivals much preferred in a race of this standard.
Spotlight: Gowran maiden win was gained over 2m; fair third in a 2m3f in a valuable conditions race at the Punchestown festival; reported lame after his run at the same venue eight weeks ago; unplaced in the 3.12 here on Saturday; not guaranteed to stay as far as this.

Even with a 20lb hike in the ratings for his Ballinrobe win, Chance Another One can probably remain competitive. However, it could pay to take a chance with an each-way alternative, and BILLY LEE SWAGGER fits the bill based on a Punchestown festival fourth. Coole Cherry may have needed the run at Killarney and may turn the tables on Greatness Awaits and Bitofajokelike. Duke Silver and Garnacho also have solid claims. [Alan Sweetman] Show less
